In your laboratory make sure you have inspected all the chemical and types of equipments.

Equipment needs to be investigated to ensure no chemical or radioactive contamination.
Throw away the chemicals that are spoiled and expired. Make sure that you follow the proper methods to dispose of the chemical.
Label the box; write the chemical name in full form.
Unserviceable, damaged equipment need to be disposed of as it no use carrying them.
If required decontaminate the equipment.
Use appropriate personal protection equipment that suits the chemical that you pack.
Sturdy boxes or deep trays are to be used for packing chemical containers.
Completely close and pack shut the boxes which contain chemicals.
The Bottle should be placed position and no stacking of bottles.
For easier unpacking make sure you label all the boxes.
Use packing materials to avoid knocking over bottles and shock ups.
Do not stack boxes high on trucks and carts.
Make sure that you do not lift the object above your shoulder height. Use ladders, stools to lift these items.
Chemicals like mercury may tend to leak or spill, take extra precaution while packing or handling these chemical or equipment containing these.
